Puppet Pals Play

My Reflection
We have been learning to read out loud using expression. We need to look at the punctuation to help us use expression. When there is an exclamation mark we make it sound louder and interesting. We read a play to practices and then recorded it on puppet pals. I found this hard because i could not remember what to say.My next step is to remember the word so i don't have to look on my book lots of time     

Term 3 Week 6

We did youth town on Tuesday and we learnt how to play HOCKEY.We used field hockey sticks.  It was hard to hit the ball and get it back because I don't now how to play hockey but when Brad, Craig and  Don told me what to do I got the hang of it. We did youth town to practices hockey. It was very fun and hard also.
First Don told us to sit behind the hockey stick and he told us to put up our weak hand and put it at the top of the hockey stick and then he told us to put up our hand that we write with and put our hand down on the stick.Next Don and Brad told us to dribble the ball and when he called 1!!! We had to go and do thumbs up and thumbs down and thumbs up is when the bottom of the hockey stick is up and thumbs down means the end of the hockey stick is facing down and when he could 2 we had to stop and do a 360 around the ball and when he says 3 we had to stop and face forward and hit the ball between your legs 5 times.After that we played a game and we had to dribble the tennis ball and we have to try and hit the other person ball out of the square and the last person who is still in the square is the... WINNER. We played another 2 times. Finally we ended with a clap and don said 1 2 3 CLAP so we went 1 2 3 CLAP and that is the end of the awesome youth town.It was hard and easy. I thought it was going to be tricky because I have never played hockey before.
